*All the items in this mini haul are to be discontinued soon, so I won't be doing individual swatches of each lip* Ah, Colourpop. I feel like while everyone else was raving about them, I was just, for some reason, not interested in trying their products. Who knows why, their products are super cheap and they carry a crazy range of colors and finishes in their lipsticks and glosses. For whatever reason, I just received my very first order ever. Let me tell you, its been something of a dream.
I let myself go a little crazy in the sale section of their website. Safe enough, with all the products being discontinued, I decided to not do individual swatches of everything I got (sorry!) because they soon will be gone forever! Hello Kitty collection? I'm sold.
When I was finished, I ended up with a basket totaling $40 and some odd change. Not bad, not bad at all, considering I was getting nine different lip colors, and a pack of 4 shadows. I'm currently really obsessed with lip colors, so getting so many was really awesome. I love Kat Von D's everlasting lip formula, but seriously, I can't have all the colors I want when each color is $20. You're robbing me blind here girl.
I am so spoiled by Amazon's prime shipping, so it felt like an eternity before these arrived, when in all reality, they came on the earliest possible day. I ordered on a Friday, and received my package the following Friday. Not bad.
I am super used to my cosmetics orders coming in a cardboard box, because the box protects the products well. However, these came in an envelope type of packaging that totally made a mess all over my room. The envelope is insulated with some sort of lint like substance that gets all over if you cut the envelope open, so be advised to avoid cutting it at all costs. It was everywhere, I had to get out my vacuum to contain the mess. So not the best of first impressions, picking the products out of my dusty envelope.
Each lip product comes in its own carton that has holographic lettering on the front. I'm a little bit obsessed with pretty packaging and holographic foiling, so I loved the boxes that they came in.
Alright, applause to whomever designs the packaging over at Colourpop. These little touches are the things that I am so obsessed with; getting little surprises when you open up a new product always makes me smile.
The eyeshadow carton also had a little surprise on the inner flap, hooray!
Here's all I got for $40! I am super pleased with the value that Colourpop offers to their customers, because this is a lot of bang for your buck. Most lip products are $6 at the most, and when they're that cheap, its a total excuse to have a rainbow of options available at your fingertips. Hello, funky weird colors that I totally wouldn't want to risk $2o on.
I have to say, the pigment on these lips are something insane. All the swatches above are with one dip into the bottle, most of them with product still left on the applicator. The mattes dried down super fast, and the glossier shades went on with a velvety feel. I'm sorta shocked that these are only $6, because the quality is totally there.
For my first experience with Colourpop cosmetics, I am totally floored. I'll be back for more shades, sooner rather than later.

Have an awesome Sunday!
