Pretty recently, I've been trying to really step up my game when it comes to skincare. I wear a full face almost daily, so the lack of moisture in my skin really was starting to take a toll on how my makeup looked. I was really excited when I saw that e.l.f. had released a rollerball for using under the eye, because thats one area on my face that perpetually looks absolutely exhausted (as with most people). While it's pretty easy to brighten up with a concealer, it needs some extra TLC at night when the day was done. This product was only $3 at target, so it seemed like the easy fix I was searching for.

I'm totally obsessed with packaging when it comes to my cosmetics, and this one is pretty meh. While I shouldn't really expect much for $3, it is a pretty dull looking product on its own. I have almost all of my products on my desk, so I really like things to look cute, and this is something that I easily look over when doing my makeup in the morning.

With a name like "Eye Refresh", I was expecting this product to have a soothing or cooling effect on the under eye. I can't say that I really experienced either, as this just felt like water under my eye. The one thing that seriously sticks out with me is the smell of this product. Good lord. The smell immediately reminded me of dissections that I did in high school, and thats when I knew that this product is something that absolutely would not work for me. The last thing I want is something that smells like formalin on my face. That was the final straw for this product that had me tossing it in the trash.

Overall, I was totally disappointed in this product. I didn't see any of the claims to be true for my skin and the scent to be totally foul. I wouldn't purchase this product again, even though it is only $3.
